We arrived safely in Nice to a wonderful brand new very reasonably priced 2-bedroom apartment with a fully equipped kitchen including a dish washer. It's part of the Apartcity chain of apartments all across France. We toured Monaco and Nice the next day. Monaco is so small, we took the choo2x train and in 30 minutes habis round the whole place. This train is cheaper than the normal hop-on-hop-off bus as it takes you round the tourist attraction without stopping. You have an overall view of the attractions and decide which one is worth visiting individually.

The choo-choo train that took us around Monaco for 7 Euro per person, much cheaper than the hop-on-hop-off bus that would cost around 17 Euro per person
NICE pun cantik but sadly it left a bad taste in our mouth. We encountered a nasty experience here. Kereta got broken into via the small triangle window kat depan. The pencuri tu must have had the device to detect laptop and iphone coz dia geledah the whole car to finally locate our ipod located in the luggage area. It's totally our fault for leaving it in the car, so complacent after staying in Germany where crime jarang2x terjadi and terlupa that Nice is a tourist haven and in these places one has to be very cautious, just like Paris and Amsterdam. Looking on the brighter side, hopefully Allah turunkan bala kecik ni utk elakkan dari bala yg lebih besar and bersyukur nothing more valuable were taken. For now istighfar banyak2x minta ampun.
The water is so very blue....amazing! This photo did not do justice, in real life the scenery just takes your breath away.

Enjoying the scenery and the blue...blue water.....it wasn't so cold. Look at the lady behind, she's about to go for a swim. It's a pebbly beach by the way, sakit kaki kalau bukak kasut.
Our damaged rented car....our doa for Allah SWT to protect us, our belongings and this car from further malapetaka and bala bencana. Jauh lagi nak jalan ni back up to Hannover only on Sunday insyaAllah.
